Beautiful, can't fault. I really wish we were better at Italian as I felt the language barrier got in the way. The lady really dod everything she could to help us and got the other guests involved too 😉 Set menu that changes with produce as it comes to season. Very nice, wpuld loved to have seen the location at day time with the view. The drive isn't for the feint hearted- windy mountainous roads :)
Beautiful place!!! We went for lunch with 10 people. Sitting with a view on the mountains is an unforgettable experience. The food is typical from Piedmont but even vegan or vegetarian options are possible by request. Wine is also excellent. It is also possible to enjoy the sauna and then use a warm outside swimmingpool!!!

Hospitality, good food and magical atmosphere. These are the elements that made this experience unforgettable. We were offered an aperitif and breakfast in the room with local products. The dinner instead took place in the restaurant a few steps from the house. The apartment is welcoming and equipped with every comfort, the bed is comfortable and overall the spaces are very clean! We felt pampered, we hope to return soon!
Relaxation and simplicity. We stayed yesterday at the Nido del Casalot and we are super happy and rejuvenated by our stay. Mrs. Marilena, very exquisite, made us feel at home. Despite the wind setback, we enjoyed the sauna and heated hot tub. A plus for the restaurant, convenient and reachable on foot from the tree house where we slept. Super recommended!

A beautiful location, immersed in peace and silence, located in a place that "you don't expect". A magical place, both during the day and in the evening, which romantically overlooks the Valley (Varaita).
Superlative staff, service and cuisine.
Absolutely recommended both as a restaurant and as an overnight stay.
Note: added value, the possibility of enjoying the swimming pool and sauna upon reservation.

I admit that I'm biased, I was born in Turin but grew up right in the village near Casalot. I am happy with this location because it has maintained our traditions, certainly revisited, because today we have to please everyone. Marilena is an excellent hostess and knows how to propose her menus with skill. Excellent wines.
But we must not forget the very kind and patient dining room staff, and the very knowledgeable, fast and clean kitchen staff. Sorry if it's not much. 👏👏👏👏👏
